A well-known fast-food location is set for auction, with its long trading history and prime corner position expected to attract strong investor interest.

Stonebridge Property Group is marketing KFC Nambour, a high-profile investment with a lease to Collins Foods, Australia’s largest KFC operator.

Refurbished in 2020, the property at 2 Lamington Terrace occupies a prominent 1781sqm corner site with exposure to more than 24,000 vehicles daily along a key arterial linking to the Bruce Highway.

Stonebridge executive Harry Curtain said Collins Foods had traded from the site for more than three decades under a historic lease structure, giving investors the chance to benefit from the store’s established sales performance.

“This represents a rare chance to secure a proven KFC investment freehold with an exceptional trading history and one of the strongest covenants in the fast-food sector,” he said.

The KFC Nambour property is on a busy street corner.

Stonebridge executive James Freemantle said the Sunshine Coast had become one of the nation’s most desirable safe havens for investors, supported by strong population growth and the delivery of several of the largest master-planned communities in Australia.

KFC Nambour will be offered via a national portfolio auction on Friday, October 31.
