A cafe has announced it will close its doors after nearly a decade serving customers.

The cafe, which has served up breakfast and lunch since 2015, is located within a historic centre at Nambour that has been earmarked for refurbishment.

Endless Time Cafe at Nambour’s C-Square on Currie Street will close on April 17.

It follows the sale of the C-Square complex last year to Sydney-based investors Sandran Property Group.

Endless Time Cafe’s owners Paul and Jean Smart posted a statement to social media to share the news with its customers.

“After nine-and-a-half wonderful years serving this amazing community, it’s time for us to say goodbye,” the statement read.

“Our cafe will be closing its doors on Thursday, April 17, as the landlords undertake major renovations of the complex.

“This decision was made amicably and while we’re sad to go, we’re incredibly grateful for the support, friendships and memories we’ve shared with you all over the years.

“We’d love to see as many of you as possible before our final day so pop in for your favourite coffee and a chat.

“Thank you for being part of our journey. We’ll miss you!”

Other current C-Square tenants include the recently refurbished Nambour Cinema, which essentially replaced Majestic Cinemas, and The Compass Institute’s Wabi Sabi store.

The Compass Institute has confirmed Wabi Sabi will be closing, but it is understood the organisation plans to find a suitable home to relocate to.

It is unknown what other businesses will be impacted by the renovations.

Sunshine Coast News has attempted to contact Sandran Property Group for information on its plans for C-Square.

Currently no development applications have been lodged with Sunshine Coast Council for the site at 52-64 Currie Street, Nambour.
