A popular burger chain with its origins in Noosa is set to open its third Sunshine Coast restaurant.

Having gained a cult-like following across Australia over the past decade, Betty’s Burgers has announced it will open its newest location at Mooloolaba.

The new restaurant will be under the Mantra Zanzibar, next to Entice Food and Wine, and is set to open on December 21.

Speaking with Sunshine Coast News, Betty’s Burgers head of marketing Lyndal Guterres said it was an exciting expansion for the “classic burger shack”.

“It’s a super-proud moment for our team. Queensland and the Sunshine Coast in particular are incredibly important and fans here have been so supportive,” she said.

“Creating another restaurant making accessibility to guests easier and one so close to the water is super-exciting.”

Betty’s Burgers will open at Mooloolaba.

Ms Guterres said the new venue would include the signature Betty’s offerings.

“Diners can expect the same consistent fresh-quality indulgent burgers that have made Betty’s Burgers a fan favourite over the years at a unique and super-inviting beachfront location,” she said.

“Our opening event will be held on Saturday, December 21, with our guests being offered an exclusive opening special.”
