It was almost eight years ago that Tina-Sharee Jones and George Young both swiped right on a dating app, not knowing that would set their destiny in motion.

Soon after their first date they found themselves sitting in beanbags and drinking Coronas at NightQuarter, when George asked Tina if she wanted to “go steady”.

She had absolutely no idea what it meant but, when George explained, she said yes.

Fast forward to 2024 and, after years of love and with their gorgeous little daughter Jazzy as flower girl, they married in an intimate elopement ceremony on the rooftop garden of the Mantra Mooloolaba.

The ceremony started with a heart-melting moment as Jazzy ran towards the bride with her arms in the air.

The light of her parents’ life, Jazzy became the star of the day, insisting on signing the marriage certificate by drawing around her hand and sitting on their lap.

The emotional vows were interrupted as a helicopter flew loudly by, with the celebrant commenting it may be the paparazzi wanting to be part of the day, which created a few giggles.

The couple spent the morning of their wedding day strolling the beach and having breakfast together, and the afternoon celebrating their marriage, with the ceremony followed by a sunset photo shoot on the exquisite Mooloolaba Beach.

The day was perfectly topped off with Jazzy staying with a babysitter and the newlyweds sharing a private, candlelit romantic dining experience catered by the Spice Bar on their hotel balcony.

The couple hosted a wedding reception the following day including their family and friends, and look back at their wedding day as one of the most amazing days of their lives.
