A developer has launched its latest land release on the Sunshine Coast, offering 21 new home sites within Australia’s largest master-planned community.

The Coppice Release, part of the Acacia at Aura precinct by developer Stockland at Caloundra South, has blocks ranging from 280sqm to 620sqm.

Stockland Aura senior development manager Genaea Keith said this was the second release of lots within Acacia at Aura and gave buyers greater affordability.

“The diverse range of lot sizes and affordable pricing options provides an opportunity for those looking to experience the Sunshine Coast lifestyle,” she said.

“We expect strong interest in this much-anticipated release.”

Acacia at Aura has the longest continuous frontage to Bells Creek within Aura, and is in the suburb of Banya, which on completion is expected to include about 1300 homes.

The 25 lots in the first release launched in November. The precinct will be developed across several stages, with the last land lots expected to be completed on the final stage by 2026.

The housing precinct fronts the Bells Creek conservation area.

“Future residents at Acacia at Aura can embrace the active, outdoor lifestyle with easy access to Aura’s existing network of walking and bike paths, three new local parks, and a future sports park at the entry of the new precinct,” Stockland Aura project director Josh Sondergeld said.

The home sites in The Coppice Release are located near a proposed sports park and community centre, with residents able to take advantage of a network of more than 200km of planned walking paths and cycleways within Aura.

Aura is currently home to more than 10,000 residents and on completion will feature its own Central Park, a 120-hectare regional park, 10 sporting grounds as well as parks and playgrounds within 400m walking distance of every home.
