A serene and stylish property in the Sunshine Coast’s “most exclusive hinterland suburb” has just hit the market, attracting interest from around the world.

No.138 Solar Road at Cooroy Mountain was listed for sale a week ago and it’s already garnered plenty of attention from prospective buyers.

The home, which is expected to sell for more than $7.5m, is just one of a handful of  properties at the Eagles Nest enclave.

The four-bedroom, four-bathroom, six-car-space property is on 4.81ha (11.88 acres) and has lured attention “from far and wide”, according to Jackson Jones – Sunshine Coast sales and communications specialist Kate Jackson.

“We’ve got great interest in it … we have someone flying in from Switzerland to come and have a look at it,” she said.

“We have a number of international visitors, and locals and interstaters, who want to have a look at properties (in that area).”

Ms Jackson said the property was ultra-modern, spacious and calming.

“Having spent some time there, sitting on the gorgeous ironbark deck looking over the mountain and the dam, there is a sense of peace, tranquillity and wellbeing,” she said.

“That’s the most exceptional thing about the property: it makes you feel incredibly relaxed and serene.”

The home includes high-end touches.

Caesarstone bench-tops meld with a blackbutt timber bench extension in the kitchen, while the master bedroom boasts a dressing room with a quantum quartz make-up counter.

The laid-back living area and deck.

“It’s very cool. Tim Ditchfield is a well-known architect on the Sunshine Coast and the home has a beautiful design. The finish is extraordinary.” Ms Jackson said.

“There are gorgeous matte concrete floors, high ceilings and stunning vistas.

“As soon as you step through the doors, you feel as though you’re in a very special place.”

The home, constructed in 2020, is still under builder’s warranty.

The property also boasts an infinity pool, private outside shower, huge butler’s pantry, bar area, media room, two-way fireplace, three-bay carport, five-bay shed/stabling, three paddocks and fruit trees.

“The property isn’t so big that it wouldn’t suit a couple,” Ms Jackson said.

“It could also suit people with animals, or a family because there is run-around space.”

It’s one of just five houses within the exclusive pocket Eagles Nest and it’s among only a selection of homes in the foothills of Cooroy Mountain, which has been dubbed by the real estate agency as the “most exclusive hinterland suburb” in the region.

Homes don’t go on the market very often there and when they do, they tend to attract top dollar.

“It’s the incredible quality of the homes and the quality of the outlook, with Cooroy Mountain, that makes the area very special,” Ms Jackson said.

“It’s probably the most exclusive address within the northern Sunshine Coast.”
