When you have your camera handy, you never know what scene you might happen to capture, which is exactly what happened with Megyn Carpenter and this #SunshineMoment.

“I was walking the dog at Currimundi and saw the kite surfers enjoying the breezy conditions,” Ms Carpenter explained. “I sat down, grabbed my phone and lined up a photo of the kite surfer, just as this cheeky fellow flew very close over my head.

“I took the photo as I ducked because the seagull squawked as if to say, ‘hello’.

“That seagull made me laugh.”

What a great moment.
