Sundale’s Coolum Waters Care Centre took a walk on the wild side when residents welcomed a few furry and scaley visitors.

Wildlife HQ Sanctuary visited each of Sundale’s Sunshine Coast locations throughout September, giving residents the chance to get up close and personal with koalas, wallabies, sugar gliders and even baby alligators.

Sundale Executive Manager Aged Care and Community Services Michelle McGowan said the visits were a source of great joy for the residents.

“It’s so beautiful to see the residents faces light up when the animals visit. It makes their week,” Ms McGowan said.
