LAST week, students at the Coolum Beach Christian College held their annual Cross Country Carnival. The day was blessed with excellent weather and a very competitive field, with all students from Prep to Year 8 competing. Tracks varied in length with the older students running a grueling 3km course including a number of hill climbs.
Students performed at a very high standard with many children running a personal best on the day, and with some excellent displays of perseverence and determination.
A team of 17 will now compete in the District event.
