A 21-year-old man from Maleny was taken to the Nambour General Hospital on Sunday night with serious injuries after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car. Preliminary inquiries suggest around 8.15pm on the Landsborough-Maleny Road, a vehicle exiting a property failed to give way, and the rider struck the vehicle. The motorcycle was destroyed by fire. The 21-year-old has suffered multiple fractures to his right leg, left arm and a laceration to his chin. His injuries are not life threatening.
