THE Tewantin Neighbourhood Group of the Australian Sewing Guild (Inc) will meet Saturday 29th November, 2008, commencing at 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.
The October meeting was particularly successful due to Pat's teaching and her superb preparation and presentation for producing a Christmas Card Hanger (Photograph attached). Well done Pat.
November meeting will be the last for the year, so we will be celebrating Christmas with a festive luncheon and the Pomona's Sewing Group will be joining us for the day. Please bring a plate of goodies to share.
There will be a selection of activities, several of which will be fairly short (no sewing machines will be required) - Annette will show us how to make a little felt angel with ribbon embroidery. Vera will sew her little angel, Barbara will teach us how to make a cathedral window pin cushion. Stephanie will make tassels, cords, braiding and Christmas chains without any glue.
DON 'T forget to bring your UGLY FABRIC CHALLENGE and the finished Christmas Card Hanger to this meeting.
