THE CREAM OF EAST COAST REGGAE bands are playing at Coolum fresh from their sets at Island Vibe Festival.

The Upsteppers and Kingfisha are Brisbane’s two finest roots reggae bands, and they will be playing for their northern fans at the Sol Bar (Coolum) on Friday 14th November on a night entitled ‘Red Gold and Greenery’.

Both bands have recently represented the Brisbane at the 3 day reggae convergence Island Vibe Festival on Stradbroke Island.

The Island Vibe Festival which includes acts from New Zealand, Melbourne, Sydney and Byron Bay brings three thousand festival goers from all across the country.

The Upsteppers’ song-man James Douglas says “It was an amazing opportunity for The Upsteppers to be welcomed back to this mammoth festival, and we are proud to be able to bring some of that Island Vibe party back up to the Sol Bar. We know how much the audiences up there love their reggae”.

The Upsteppers and Kingfisha bring their island vibe roots brand of reggae to the Sol Bar Coolum for Red Gold & Greenery, Friday 14th November.
