THE recent fundraising efforts of Noosa’s Rainbow Club paid off with a great response to their latest Raffle which helped generate some much needed funds for the Club.

The Club wishes to thank Wolngarin Holiday Resort Noosa, Noosa Springs, Roberts Turf and Lilyscapes for their generosity in supplying the prizes.

The Noosa Rainbow Club offers specialized learn to swim programs to children all over the Sunshine Coast with special needs. It also helps develop water safety skills and gives the children the opportunity to interact with each other in a fun and safe environment.

The start of the Summer Swimming Term kicked off with a fun day and BBQ and it was a brilliant introduction to the Club for all of the new members. It’s not too late to join though, especially with the warmer weather upon us, with lessons commencing each Sunday morning from 9am and running through until midday at the Noosa Aquatic Centre, Sunshine Beach.
