IF you take your business networking seriously there are just five days left to register and reserve your place at the next Sunshine Coast Business Networking Night, one of the biggest networking events on the Coast.

Sunshine Coast Council will host the event at the Nambour Civic Centre on Wednesday October 29 from 5:30 - 8:30pm, providing a great opportunity for like-minded business people to get together to build their network of contacts.

Registration forms are available from www.business.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au and must be received by Friday 24 October.

Economic Development Manager (Central), Alex Lever-Shaw said Council is committed to supporting and growing the regional economy through networking opportunities.

“Networking is a proven tool that grows the region’s economy by promoting and supporting local business to business connections,” Mr Lever-Shaw said.

“This event is designed to be informal, fun and informative and starts with a workshop where you can brush up your networking skills before the networking activities begin.”

The Sunshine Coast Business Networking event costs $15 per head.

The free networking workshop will be led by Clare Edwards, founder of Changeworks.

The workshop commences at 4.30pm and is a great way to start the night by learning how to build instant rapport with new people and communicate effectively with different personalities to maximise your networking success on the night.
